As part of the Incident Command Post (ICP) that was set up to systemize the efforts of the various government and community agencies who were supporting the sudden influx of Syrian refugees into the community, I coordinated efforts between MAGMA and the ICP. In doing so, I was required to utilize a wide variety of trouble-shooting techniques, collaborative strategies, improvisation, and morale enhancement.

As part of Crandall University's BA in Organizational Management, I designed and facilitated a course designed to assist graduates in successfully recruiting, retaining, and promoting culturally-different employees.

As Investment Trainer, I created and facilitated a series of 5-week courses for new mutual fund representatives. The courses provided an introduction into the world of investments, and then built conversational approaches to transforming that technical understanding into meaningful, goal-oriented client advice.

Even though investments are a cruicial part of financial planning, they can be confusing for many. Through personalized conversations I therefore provided straightforward, understandable advice around investment solutions to help clients achieve their life goals, receiving the bank's highest honour for my level of service.

Working in Tokyo's corporate headquarters for the country's largest private school network, I was responsible for developing curricula for a national framework of 580 schools. This involved creating educational materials which utilized cutting-edge adult pedagogical approaches, allowing over 5,000 teachers to more successfully engage and prepare tens of thousands of students to communicate effectively in a new language.

In this dual role, I was responsible both for directly supervising up to 10 ESL instructors at my home branch and mentoring other school leaders in the area, while simultaneously setting and executing the professional development of all leaders and instructors within the area network of 7 additional schools.

Having reached a high level of proficiency, I was then given the responsibility to develop curriculum for, and then facilitate, onboarding training and continuing education for instructors.
