As a Product Designer at Grav.id, I apply my background in music education and human-computer interaction to solve human problems. I have a bachelor's degree in music and multiple certifications in UX design from CareerFoundry and Google. I have over three years of experience as a product/UX designer, where I conducted user research, created personas, wireframes, prototypes, and usability tests, and contributed to strategic product decisions. As a UX designer, you quickly realize one of your greatest skill sets is being a jack of all trades. I've needed to juggle separate research projects, design projects, and communicating with cross-functional team members, all in the pursuit of designing an optimal user experience for the product I'm working on.I also have ten years of experience as a music teacher, where I teach students of different ages and backgrounds, design tailored lesson plans, and assess their skills and progress. I believe that listening is the most important quality for UX designers, musicians, and educators, as it enables us to understand, empathize, and collaborate with others. I use tools such as Sketch, Figma, Invision, Adobe XD, and Balsamiq to create user-friendly and engaging interfaces and experiences.
