Understand building systems including: mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), building automation systems, and HVAC Controls and assure that they are installed correctly and on time.

• Oversaw installation of refrigerated systems, in new construction or remodels, of Kroger, Save-a-Lot, and Fresh Thyme stores. • Troubleshot any issues that occurred during the warranty period, including issues with controller programming, protocols, refrigerated cases, and piping or insulation.

● Performed pre-functional checks to assess installation of items such as fume hoods and sump pumps throughout the building.● Generated construction management punch lists in order to ensure proper installation of mechanical systems such as HVAC, plumbing, RO water, fire prevention and suppression, electrical power, safety showers, lighting, and audio and video, prior to checks and tests performed by the engineering firm or commissioning agent.● Continually reviewed contractor’s construction schedule, during the progress of work in the building, and reported on this information to the project managers.● Helped to diagnose and resolve any conflicts, between contractors, during the installation process.● Researched, using building specifications, to find out how different mechanical systems should be installed, according to state building code, electrical code, and the client’s standards.● Attended owner training sessions that educated the University of Kentucky on how to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot the mechanical systems in the building.
