I began working when I was 16 years old at my Uncles pizza business in Aurora, IL. After graduating high-school I took a management position at McDonald's, eager to join the workforce. In 2006 I was excited to become a part of the Menards team. I quickly worked my up into management where I led my team to constantly strive to do better, and work safer. After about 10 years in that position, I was called upon by general office to take a position as a yard/shipping/receiving advisor, and move to northern Wisconsin. I learned a great deal working with the "top dogs" and was successful in my role. But I missed home, and so I came back to the store level and assisted with a major remodel in which I played a key role. Eager to find a change after 13 years with Menards, I transitioned to Holiday Inn Express to challenge myself in a new way.
