880 MW OxyChem Taft Cogeneration ProjectCoordinated, supervised and performed the initial plant start up of the 3 on 1 configured plant. Interfaced with vendors to evaluate and troubleshoot equipment problems. Evaluated and developed action plans on plant performance issues. Trained owner plant personnel as to the safe operation, performance limitations and preventative maintenance duties within the plant. Also, performed the operation of the water demineralizer. Authored the plant lock and tag procedure and administered the LOTO program throughout the project. Solely responsible for the commissioning, operating and training on the gas compressors.
