Manage the daily operations of Metro benefits for employees and pensioners. Coordinate, oversee and manage assigned benefit projects, benefit contracts and RFP’s to timely completion within budgetary guidelines. Present project outlines and completion results to Metro Benefit Board for budget alterations and approvals. Evaluate effectiveness of completed projects and determine if improvements/changes are necessary. Serve as a liaison between Human Resources and other groups inside and outside Metro insurance vendors. Manage the Pension, Benefits and Special Projects staff for the HR department. Currently serve as the HIPAA Privacy Officer for Metro Human Resources.

Supervise the Special Projects/Compliance and Benefit Services divisions within Human Resources. Determine eligibility and subsequently enroll employees into appropriate benefit programs. Direct company contact for employees to address questions, benefit issues, and report life changes. Organize, process, and forward applicable information to appropriate departments and companies (insurance).

Perform professional, technical, and analytical work in support of a central personnel administration program. Approve and correct activities for various departments associated with Fastnet. Assist Metro departments in the interpretation and application of Civil Service policies and procedures.

Headed major renovation projects within the hospital. Instrumental in budget submission and finalization. Created a new internal system for prescriptions and drug safety.
