I hope to create opportunities for people to find their voice - literally and figuratively. I am an aspiring Speech Language Pathologist who has several years of experience as a beatbox performer, educator and content creator. Capitalizing on my love for creativity and innovation, I intend to incorporate beatboxing with speech therapy to make it fun, accessible and meaningful to people who struggle with expressing themselves. With the skills and knowledge acquired from my Broadcasting and Media Production major, I am working with Beatbox International and Beatnation to grow the beatbox artform through content creation and education. At Beatbox International, we provide a platform for talented beatboxers on our YouTube channel to inspire others and be discovered by our 250,000+ subscribers. I play an active role in Beatnation, generating new ideas for content creation, supervising team members, expanding our education programs and community building with the ultimate goal of providing sustainable opportunities for beatbox enthusiasts.Being involved in education and media production, I realize how significant having a voice and being able to share your ideas are - they make up your identity. Everyone has some kind of means to express themselves, be it through social media, physical gestures or with the vibration of their vocal cords. I aspire to help them utilize what they have to connect with the world and the people around them meaningfully.
