• Responsible for all aspects of fixed asset accounting, including maintenance of depreciation schedules, preparation of quarterly entries and year-end audit and tax schedules• Oversee consultant/program advisors contracts and payments; provide data to foundation executives on a monthly basis• Prepare, investigate, and communicate monthly cash activity, cash flow information schedules, and outstanding items to the Accounting Director and CFO• Process, pay, track and reconcile monthly benefit expenses healthcare, pension, and insurance by person and create benefit expense analyses for budgeting, reporting, and comparative analysis with Human Resources• Coordinate ad hoc projects and reporting as needed by the Accounting Director and CFO

• Subject matter expert for Tax Functions and Cash Accounting Functions within Group Insurance• Prepare vouchers, supporting documentation, reconciliations and other activities as needed to ensure funds are allocated to appropriate business units and general ledger accounts within deadlines• Manage, monitor and reconcile Multi-million dollar accounts and reported weekly to management• Ensure accurate and timely reporting and financials for monthly, quarterly and year end close reconciliations• Collaborate with other departments to creating educational events, and process improvement meetings•Identify problem areas which led to process improvements which increased efficiency and control within procedures• Create development and implementation or Standard Operating Procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department• Work with system direct reports to establish goals and objectives for each month and monitor and advised on progress to enhance professional development of the team
