One of my proudest moments was the day my team at Infinity released AgentQuote, a modular system that streamlined quoting processes for both customers and insurance agents. It had been in development for nearly 2 years before we could implement it in the first state, but the payoff was huge. The program’s success led to nationwide rollout and new lines of business, including personal, commercial, and classic auto insurance.My quest for professional growth doesn’t end at software development, however. In 2017, I founded Venture Technologies with my business partner. Neither of us had much experience in product design or business development, but we saw a gap in the market—a problem—and knew that the right solution would benefit a lot of people. Together, we designed a unique and patented hands-free infrared thermometer. Since taking the business full-time in 2019, we’ve even onboarded a third-party manufacturer to assist us in the production of a new and improved model.At the top of my game, I’m poised to return to my career in IT, leveraging the business development skillset I’ve developed over the past five years to take on a leadership role in a performance-driven tech company.
