As a Director of Cyber-Resiliency Engineering at Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC), I currently manage a global team that supports the Cohesity and Backbox products used to capture configuration and application data required to recover infrastructure and application functionality in the event of a cyber attack or other data destructive event. In this role, I partner across engineering and support teams within the organization to identify and enable configuration data captures, collaborate with industry partners such as AWS and Sheltered Harbor to define industry standards and capabilities for cyber-resiliency, and create operational metrics demonstrating the current status of our cyber-resiliency protections. I'm also involved in the organization's working group to address the upcoming Post-Quantum Cryptography challenge. Prior to my current role, I've held various leadership positions at DTCC, including Director of Disaster Recovery, Director and Area Lead of Distributed Hosting Services, Director of Linux Platform Engineering, and Director of Global IT Service Desk. In each of these roles, I was responsible for managing global teams and implementing innovative solutions to meet business objectives and regulatory requirements.Before joining DTCC, I worked as a Senior Systems Programmer at Hertz Rent-a-Car. In this role, I was responsible for administering a clustered web environment that utilizes both horizontally and vertically scaled WebSphere JVMs to handle workload of over 4 million page-hits per day for Hertz.com website.In 2012, I earned my MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas.
