I am a dedicated problem solver. I dive into any problem, small or large, and investigate the situation from all sides while brainstorming solutions. I love to analyze everything, and I create Excel spreadsheets at the drop of a hat. I can't resist reading any article that uses a map or chart to illuminate an idea.In my most recent position I specialized in daylighting analysis. I helped YR&G grow its analytics scope, developing best practices and determining how the analysis could help our clients. I also developed and improved several internal tools used to track projects and stay organized.My background is exceptionally diverse, which has given me a number of specific skills, but my abilities transcend any one degree that I have earned or position I have held. By drawing on a broad background I am able to form connections between seemingly disparate subjects, shift between a variety of tasks, and pick up new skills as needed.In the Master of Architecture Program at Parsons I focused on the technical and analytical aspects of design. I performed building energy and shading analysis, studied the integration of interactive technology into the built environment, and used programming techniques to create procedural design algorithms. Analysis was a large part of my role at YR&G, and now I am excited to find a position that will allow me to fully transition into analysis and put my skills to good use.In my free time I really enjoy playing board games, learning languages, and getting out into nature hiking, camping, and canoeing.
