Continuously working to support the non-profit in its endeavors to help halt and reverse the long-term effects of chronic malnutrition in Basotho children by sending nutrient-packed meals. Almost 3 million meals have been distributed to 23 sites in all 10 districts, reaching roughly 3,700 children 5 years old and younger. The organization was recognized as a nonprofit in 2016 after being formed by Wittenberg University students.

I assisted the Coordinator of Chemistry Labs by setting up and tearing down weekly labs, maintaining a clean lab environment, and finding more green ways to conduct experiments. With previous research students, Dr. Kristin Cline developed a one-step diazonium ion synthesis and electrode grafting method by grinding glassy carbon electrodes (GCE) in a water paste of aryl amine, p -toluenesulfonic acid, and sodium nitrite. In Dr. Justin Houseknecht's computational lab, I continued investigating the possibility of a concerted mechanism for nucleophilic acyl substitution. I focused on the reaction between acetyl cyanide and cyanide.
