Here, I developed my love for luxury furniture and décor while honing my sales and management skills, which I carried over to Coricraft South Africa. After a year of travelling the world on cruise ships, selling jewellery, and generally having an awesome time, I returned to South Africa and started the JVB Furniture Collection with my long-time mentor, James Smith, the Previous CEO and partner of Wetherly’s. Our showroom is curated and styled in room sets, presenting a selection of interior installations that clients and local interior designers can use for inspiration or buy outright.Although running a successful company in South Africa presents unique challenges, especially with high-end furniture like ours, the people we work with make it worthwhile. I’ve been honoured to be involved with the Koru Camp Team because they are an organisation connecting local communities with their natural heritage.
