I create valuable differences in the healthcare delivery model by helping patients successfully navigate the healthcare system while significantly reducing costs for both the employer and patient.I take pride in doing this work as it helps companies become more successful by keeping workers healthy and happy. I also think it's ok to joke about how inefficient and profitable the healthcare system is. I believe humor and comedy are both great remedies for connecting on meaningful levels for people. This fosters learning by making it entertaining. Learning to navigate the healthcare system saves lives, so it's very critical that we learn how.I started in the business when I was 11 years old (you read that right). My father started the first PPO and TPA in Maine in 1987. From 1987 - 1992, I worked without pay and received my first paycheck in the fall of 1993. Although disgruntled at the time, working without pay helped instill what it means to be an entrepreneur in me at an impressionable age. I am constantly looking for new opportunities to create more valuable experiences for patients while strengthening the risk management component of employee benefit plans. I am family man and am active in my parish community at St. Kevin in Warwick, RI. I'm a musician and also enjoy training in fitness and martial arts, and coaching girls softball.
