I am a highly capable Technical Project Manager with strong leadership skills and work ethic. I have extensive experience within project delivery and project support roles across Federal Government. This has lead to direct experience managing schedules, stakeholders, budgets, risks (technical and security accreditation) and ensuring projects are completed on time and within agreed financial parameters.

I was employed on a 6-month contract to backfill a Program Manager on long-term sick leave delivering on projects predominantly with Defence but also with some Public Sector Departments and Private Enterprise companies.Delivering 11 projects with a combined revenue of $2.42M. Resource numbers range from one to seven engineers.Achieved $1.42M of project milestone revenue in a 5-month period.Strictly managed Time & Material projects and achieved zero over-delivery.

Initially employed to take over a troubled project and to manage the remediation effort for the Managed Print Service which had severe delivery issues which significantly impacted all staff across the department (2,500+ staff). We successfully stabilised and significantly improved managed print services across all of the client sites within 3-months. The initial implementation of this solution had been problematic for the department and was a primary source for user frustration. The remediation project required methodical analysis of problems, planning and implementation of standardised printer configuration, drivers, firmware and print queue settings. On completion of the project the client won the HP South Pacific ecoSolutions Printing Award for 2012.Allocated to take over another troubled project, which had issues for several months. This project was successfully completed within six-weeks, which included a four-week timeframe for hardware delivery. Assigned as the senior project manager for a client Transformation Program, which at times involved up to 16 concurrent projects of varying complexity and size. Most related to applications, virtualisation and server infrastructure; others involved a datacentre relocation, server hardware refresh, Citrix Access Gateways, and office relocation projects.

Assisted the Defence project manager with the transition activities by coordinating all scheduled Fujitsu activities.Managed a team of five staff (Defence contractor and Fujitsu staff) to achieve scheduled tasks.Successfully retained the momentum on the assigned projects by quickly gaining the confidence of the customer and the project team.Re-established customer relations with the Defence project manager by demonstrating the ability to control a schedule resulting in accurate progress being understood by the customer.

Managed delivery of the server infrastructure and services contract with Defence.

Delivery of a $25m IT infrastructure project for a Government client, which includes the management of client relationships, management of the contract and scope management. Effective change management process. There have been, and will continue to be, a number of scope changes. These changes have been managed effectively to ensure all changes are planned and costed for the client to then decide whether the change will be accepted as being part of the contract.Effective budget management ensuring there has been no unplanned or unscheduled work being performed by the project team.Delivery of the processes and procedures under the allocated budget.Realising the benefits delivered by the implementation of Major Incident Management, Call Management and Escalation Management, which were acknowledged by the Secretary of Defence and the CIO during their visit to the DRN Service Desk.
