• Designed patient-specific craniomaxillofacial implants in CAD software (Geomagics Freeform, Materialise 3-matic) in a variety of biocompatible materials and anatomical configurations, ensuring designs are safe, effective, and within the regulated design envelope for the classification.• Performed mechanical analyses on implant designs to ensure safe manufacturability with their respective material workflows (including CNC machining, 2-part mold sintering, and DMLS additive manufacturing of Ti).

• Assessed patient CT data for suitability for custom implant design using medical imaging software (Materialise Mimics) and performed anatomical and defect segmentation for design workflows.• Post-processed patient-specific 3d-printed titanium plates for midface orthognathic, reconstructive, and trauma indications, prepared plate designs for additive manufacturing, and created SLA-printed anatomical models from patient skulls.
