As a Quality Assurance student intern, I was assigned to the Integrated Voice Recognition (IVR) team. Each month we were given a sprint with user stories that designated our tasks and goals for that month. It was my task to formulate test cases, and ultimately entire test plans in order to test the many facets of our IVR system and it's four applications. I gathered test data through making proxy members with complete data through mainframe or the Portal application. I would filter through what test data I would need through querying a DB2 database. Upon testing, I would utilize JIRA to log any defects or bugs, then retest the fixes or changes. In addition to that I developed a VBA script, and made changes to the logging functionality of IVR. The logging portion of the IVR code was utilized to generate scripts the entailed pertinent information about a call that went into the system.
