Failures:I was impatient with team members as they adapted to our new vision and product delivery model.Due to not having enough documentation and processes, new employees struggled with onboarding and understanding what needed to be accomplished in each part of our product delivery.Our team often times over-delivered on our SOWs, and the clients started to expect it, so when we reeled it back as more work came online, our clients felt disappointed.

Failures:While I emailed a few user surveys, I relied too heavily on business intelligence and user behavior analytics to prioritize experiments.I wasn't convincing enough and didn't bring enough insights to ge the VP of Marketing bought into my marketing and partnership roadmap. In my 1 year here, my direct manager and his boss left, and I never felt I had buy-in from the executive team or anyone I reported to. This time was challenging because of the pandemic's start, and the whole world felt shaky. My standing at FloSports always felt shaky because of the management changes. Looking back, I realize I was much more secure in my job than I ever realized.

Failures:I never confirmed with my leadership what success looked like, and the expected timeline of success, so while I thought I was doing well, I'm unsure if leadership did.I was laid off along with many employees when the electronic components industry took a nose dive for various reasons, which ultimately was a blessing.

Failures:I was hired to be a part of an e-commerce team managing the Mellanox.com website and was ultimately going to be bought and moved under Mellanox. My biggest failure here was to ensure in writing that if and when Mellanox purchased the site, I'd be a part of the team that would move to Mellanox.This was a different failure than I had thought at the time, but after taking a step back and talking to my previous manager, I now realize this was my ultimate failure at PureWRX.

Failures:We made a lot of significant site changes that improved the site, but we didn't utilize experimentation enough to verify our insights. We could've moved faster and ensured our changes positively impacted RPV by consistently running experiments.I managed the developers and the designers, but I didn't bring the designers into the product management process as much as I should have and over-relied on the developers to design new experiences.

Failures: I was brought on to accomplish a specific job, but I spent my time talking to other employees and leaders to figure out what they cared about and spent more time doing those things. By paying attention to my peers, I could find the gems that would focus my team and me, but my manager was often upset that I wasn't focusing on the projects we had agreed upon. I could be hard to work with because I had very high expectations of others and would get upset if they weren't met.

Failures:I was impatient, and when I felt like I wasn't given the respect I thought I deserved, I found another job where I should have discussed my concerns with my co-founder and figured out a way to stay with the company.We chose to build an e-commerce store from the ground up instead of looking to buy an e-commerce platform, which allowed us to focus on our fun and exciting projects.
