• Built an Elixir JSONApi compliant API with robust content management backend

• Designed and built a highly reliable and scalable web advertisement system in Elixir that generates 5 million impressions a month on average (it’s open source- go check it out)
• Brought test coverage up from 15% to 80% in around two months and improved speed of CI/CD in Travis by 20%
• Optimized large impressions database using materialized views for faster reporting
• Built a Google Analytics reporting system that allows for real time geospatial impression tracking and campaign metrics

• Led the overall technical vision for roster's product line and contributed heavily to overall business strategy
• Scaled department to a total size of four
• Led delivery of a production iOS application in three months that was revenue generating
• Designed a distributed Elixir application architecture built for long term scalability

• Built a CQRS platform which allowed work order changes to be completed on mobile app during low-connectivity periods and synced to API when back online

• Extended legacy API written in Node, MongoDB and Ruby and retroactively wrote tests

• Optimized slow running code by reducing object enumerable actions by tuning queries to a complex PostgreSQL database with JSONB array columns
• Maintained and improved a highly decoupled Rails application utilizing Engines to promote separation of concerns
