Zappon is a group buying platform focusing on the South African market.I was part of the founding team that took Zappon from a powerpoint presentation to a group buying platform with a sales team in all major cities of South Africa.I focused on sales strategy, strategic deals and scaling up the sales force on the ground.

Uncontained Living conceptualized, designed and aimed to sell eco-friendly housing solutions, primarily in South Africa. We converted shipping containers into sustainable accommodation units that could be purchased and used by our customers. We aimed to serve as a catalyst for empowering entrepreneurship and growth in the South African eco-housing sector and facilitate our customers need to capitalize on the global financial and psychological drive towards eco-friendly and energy sustainable business practices.We came 2nd in the National Innovation Competition (Institution phase), worked on the early stages of the Cape Town World Design Capital Bid and managed to attract the support of international funders. Unfortunately, we decided to cease pursuing the business venture. I now use my learning's and insights into helping other entrepreneurs go through the same journey.

Just Kings Events was an events (formal word for 'parties') company that specialized in hosting bespoke parties. We dealt with, and executed all happenings regarding to an event; from generating the concept to selling tickets and running the bar.I now use my learnings and understandings of social dynamics, the influence of music/media, trends and personalities to drive change in other initiatives/organizations I am involved with.
