At Jive, my agile, collaborative team was responsible for some of the core application features for the company's suite of products. I was responsible for troubleshooting reported bugs, implementing new features, and developing new unit tests. Some of the technologies I used include Java, JavaScript, JUnit, JIRA, and Soy Templates. Additionally, I was responsible for maintaining code integrity using enterprise-level version control with Git. I created my own pull requests, handled any potential merge conflicts, and ensured my work was completed by the end of each sprint.This internship was also part of the PSU/PDX Cooperative Education Program (PCEP).

At XPO Logistics, my internship was focused on increasing the amount of automation testing that the QA department was doing. To accomplish this goal, I developed my own automation testing framework that utilized JSON to store test data which was used by the test cases written for QTP/UFT. I also used this newly-created framework to automate a suite of previously manual QA tests.This internship was also part of the PSU/PDX Cooperative Education Program (PCEP).

At CDK I helped to engineer the next generation of enterprise class solutions, utilizing a broad range of the latest technologies. I worked with other team members, architects and product owners in the early and continuous delivery of high quality network products.My time at CDK was spent on two major projects. First, I developed a dashboard app to monitor the health of various servers for different development environments. The technology stack that I used to implement this included AngularJS, Java, RESTful Web Services and JSON. Additionally, I assisted in first-run testing of a new QA automation technology called Taurus, and developed a suite of tests that demonstrated this technology's usefulness for API endpoint testing.I interned at CDK Global through the PSU/PDX Cooperative Education Program (PCEP).

• Responsible for CMMS, including planning, coordinating, and managing maintenance activities • Initiate corrective and preventative maintenance work orders and distribute to appropriate teams• Generate, distribute, reconcile, and analyze Maximo reports• Develop management reports for all Maximo activities in the Western Division • Manage approval process for new and existing equipment• Track status and completion of all work orders• Liaison with maintenance and laboratory technicians to ensure timely maintenance of equipment

• Simultaneously perform automated and manual test procedures, both with a team and independently, on blood samples to assure the safety, potency and purity of the blood supply• Assist in identifying potential problems and errors, trouble-shooting and implementing corrective actions• Assist supervisor in scheduling, validations, proficiency testing and projects as needed• Maintain accurate, complete and detailed records

• Collect and analyze storm water samples in order to find and assess potential illicit discharges• Interpret gathered data and observations about the Illicit Discharge Elimination Plan in order to provide weekly progress reports to my supervisor• Research, evaluate and implement environmental program improvements• Coordinate annual environmental education events, including Children’s Water Festival, River Conservation Day, Ground Water Teacher Training Camp, and Super Soil Test Saturday• Serve as an active member of the River Conservation Committee, Wellhead Protection Team, and Greater Battle Creek Area Watershed Management Committee

• Perform DNA extractions using micro-pipettes• Responsible for running gel electrophoresis and interpreting the resultant data• Maintain lab reports of experimental results
