• Involved in all aspects of conceptualizing, art directing and designing both print and digital for the various internal and external clients in the Houston Chronicle’s Marketing Services Department. • Assist Creative Services Manager to ensure a smooth flow of design projects through the department from coordinators to creative team and on to the clients.

• Design and produce printed pieces, campaigns for newspaper and trade publications, including display ads, inserts, posters and brochures. • Develop point-of-purchase materials, t-shirt designs and logos as well as trade show and exhibit booths. • Work with clients, photographers and printers on projects from conception to completion. • Responsible for working within budget on sales and promotional materials in The Chronicle’s internal advertising and promotion department with internal and external clients including the Houston Chronicle’s advertising, circulation and human resources departments; Hearst Corp. sales department and advertisers and non-profit organizations.

• Responsible for graphic design and production for a restaurant and entertainment company active in seven markets. • Conceptualize and develop point-of-purchase materials (posters, table tents, menus), flyers, signage, print ads; work with photographers, color separators and printers negotiating prices and direct work through finished product. • Contribute to interior graphics of restaurants/clubs by designing neon art and signage, painting murals and wall graphics.
