Also working alongside product designers, product line managers, and brand partners, I wrote product launch copy and descriptions for the SNKRS app, a direct-to-consumer purchasing platform for their most hyped sneakers and apparel.

During this time, I received life-saving mental health treatment while exploring new opportunities and interests in event promotion, political campaign operations, and political fundraising.

Reporting to Nadeska Alexis within Complex’s daily news video department, Complex News, I wrote scripts and reported on-camera in at least two videos a day for its YouTube channel. In the field, usually produced man-on-the-street style, I covered sports and music festivals, clothing lineups, charity events, and protests.Featured in more than 200 videos covering confluence culture across sports, hip-hop, sneakers, celebrities, and fashion, I produced over 20 million views.

I write and report on daily sports news items, pitch and execute long-term features, manage interns and fellows, and manage all of HuffPost Sports' social media accounts. Writing stories unique to HuffPost's progressive core identities and our moral beliefs as a section were priority. The silly viral stuff was very, very necessary too, though. For example, my Michael Jordan Crying Face mask went viral via our Twitter account and was featured on the 11 p.m. EST SportsCenter on ESPN that night. In spring 2014, myself and a fellow Complex Sports writer co-wrote and assisted in the production of the entire Complex World Cup Guide. I did consulting work for sports and lifestyle website start-up DUNK360 on a regular basis. I've written strategy opuses for DUNK360 for social media and news aggregation. I also critiqued and coached staff writers on a one-on-one basis to develop an in-house core.

Reporting to Paul Rogers, Liverpool’s former Head of International Digital Development, I wrote columns to be posted on either Liverpool’s main website, LiverpoolFC.com, or their tour website, LFCTour.com.

Working under Director of Communications Jen Chang, I updated content for the Cosmos' website, edited news and feature articles, covered Cosmos events, interviewed players, pitched and executed social media tactics, and activated Cosmos street promotions.

To support the broadcast network, I updated One Worlds Sports' website. I posted news, blogs, and feature stories, and assisted the Executive Editor in day-to-day website management and content generation. I specialized in 2014 World Cup coverage.

I co-founded a hip-hop blog in June 2010. It's progressed as an outlet for artist interviews, features, and profiles, concert and event coverage, and essays and columns about the industry.

I founded a YouTube channel in June 2009 to cover sports. As the channel progressed, I found a niche as a vlogger about Liverpool FC. I launched a website to accompany the channel in June 2012 to showcase my sports writing. The YouTube channel has produced video coverage of matches at Fenway Park, Ajax Arena, Camp Nou, Anfield, and Emirates Stadium. Former Liverpool and Ajax player Ryan Babel was also interviewed in Amsterdam for the channel.

At DUNK360.com, I crafted aggregate sports news posts, wrote columns, pitched and executed ideas for features, and interviewed athletes. On assignment, I've interviewed Tim Hardaway Jr. and Dorrell Wright.

For my work-study job through NYU, I chose to join America Reads. It's a national campaign that was started in 1997 to get higher education students into public school classrooms to assist teachers and to tutor students. At P.S. 64 in the Lower East Side, I worked with a classroom of 4th grade students during their literacy and math lessons.
