I have extensive experience working with internal marketing teams to bring new mobility services and solutions from the research and development side to market or implementation within the organization. Oversee the development of a process to vet prospects new markets, determine market value, identify competition, staff deployment, and establish goals for growth.

I was hired as the first TDM planning expert to lead the startup and management of a team that develops transportation management and mobility strategies and plans for real estate developers, universities, hospitals, nonprofit organizations and local governments. Highlights:-Helped lead development of new TDM Division.-Led commute survey and TDM monitoring efforts throughout the DC Region-Managed the implementation and operations of TDM Programs throughout Fairfax County, VA.-Provided guidance on TDM Plan and Proffer standards for Tysons Corner, VA.-Coordinated transportation management plans (TMP) and parking management plans (PMP) throughout Arlington, VA.-Partnered with Fairfax County DOT to advocate that multi-tenant residential and office properties be recognized as part of the Best Workplaces for Commuters designation for their top-notch property-based commute programs. In 2012, the criteria for the new “Best Site” designation was officially established.

I was hired to develop and lead the TDM implementation practice within this consulting firm. Stationed in Washington, DC, my position evolved into one that supported the start up and management of a DC office.Highlights:• Contributed to corporate decision making for $3 million transportation consulting firm, while leading start up of DC Office and business development for the Northeast Region. • Guided long range transportation planning initiatives, including convening key stakeholders, collaborating with governmental decision makers, and evaluating outcomes.• Administered complex projects involving contract negotiations and management, timelines, budgets, and staff allocation.• Advanced sustainability of regions by developing transportation programs that support comprehensive master plans and complete streets initiatives.• Supervised project managers’ work plans, while monitoring responsibilities and scope of authority. • Managed effort to integrate TDM principles into regional land use regulations as a means of maximizing vehicle trip reduction.• Cooperated with developers to create strategic plans and secure development approvals to ensure that transit-oriented development minimized traffic impacts.• Provided insight on transportation and land use to maximize redevelopment potential of retail districts, including parking needs of residents, employees, and visitors. • Organized transportation and event planning for various clients, including the Downtown Business Improvement District for Cherry Blossom Festival, Capital Fringe Festival, and Taste of Georgetown.• Developed multi-year plans for metropolitan areas in Minnesota, North Carolina, and New York to guide transportation policy and programming, including identification and availability of funding sources.• Conducted transportation management association feasibility studies including stakeholder outreach, surveys & assessments, and analysis of regional transportation and development trends.

Las Vegas, Nevada Area

I was hired to create and lead the new regional TDM division for this Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for the Las Vegas Region. I was responsible for a team of marketing, outreach and administrative professionals that helped employers throughout Southern Nevada develop commute programs which encouraged their employees to travel to work by means other than driving a car.Highlights: • Led staff responsible for promoting and establishing TDM strategies at regional worksites.• Devised and implemented TDM strategies to improve traffic flow and increase economic vitality of Greater Las Vegas Region.• Directed $1 million allocation of CMAQ and FTA funds annually to research, develop, and market new TDM programs. • Established TDM component of Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP) and Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) for the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) of Las Vegas.• Grew an award winning regional rideshare and incentive program from start-up in 1999 to over 7,000 participants in 2004.• Created an innovative transit pass and invoice system to track employee transit usage and capture tax benefits available through IRC Section 132 f.• Partnered with Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce to initiate, manage, and complete Southern Nevada’s first Regional Telework Assessment Program.

Greater Philadelphia Area

• Enhanced the economic vitality of the Greater Philadelphia Region by advancing TDM strategies. • Identified and coordinated corporate transportation strategies for improved labor force access and transit service expansion to suburban business parks.• Initiated “PhillyTraffic”, the Philadelphia Regional Traffic Advisory Internet Service and “Share-A-Ride Online”, the Philadelphia Regional Ridematching Internet Service.• Generated private sector partnership with “SmarTraveler”, for the Philadelphia Regional Advanced Traveler Information System (ATIS).• Launched “Share-A-Lot”, an award winning private sector park & ride system.
