I am confident that my education, research experience, and personal background will allow me to make my mark on the field of psychology and I am elated to begin my journey towards my goal. I intend on receiving a Psy.D and positioning myself within my subfields of passion:Growing up in The Bronx, I am driven to make a positive impact on the lives of adolescents from diverse backgrounds; specifically young men of color as there are societal factors hindering their emotional well-being. Additionally, my long-term goal is to attain certification for psychedelic-assisted therapies, as I believe that these mind-altering practices have profound effects on the brain and it's use case is becoming too apparent to ignore. My unique path has led me here to connect & explore options for the future!
