I am the longtime CEO of the Regional Learning Alliance (RLA), a collaborative educational nonprofit. For me, leadership is about creating spaces where others can thrive—whether it’s by cultivating a dynamic team, forging impactful partnerships, or fostering a culture rooted in service and growth. I believe lifelong learning is less about the destination and more about the journey. For over 25 years, I’ve embraced this philosophy, continuously evolving and refining my own leadership and learning. As an educational psychologist, I hold a Doctor of Education in Educational Psychology from West Virginia University, with a focus on the learning environment, lifelong learning, and the cognitive-communication processes that shape how we learn.Throughout my career, I’ve been dedicated to creating exceptional learning environments that inspire collaboration, creativity, and growth. At the RLA, I have helped create a modern, inclusive, and sustainable center where over 50,000 people gather annually for academic, community, and workforce development. This vibrant conference and learning hub is the result of a collaborative vision that I’m honored to have brought to life. It’s a place where transformative ideas are sparked, and individuals come to grow—both professionally and personally.I’m immensely proud of the work we’ve accomplished at the RLA and the incredible team I’ve had the privilege to build. Every day, we are united by a shared commitment to the people we serve and the meaningful impact we strive to make in their lives.
