An experienced and commercial Operations Executive with significant experience covering equity, debt, derivative, product development, relationship management in the Australian and Global Financial Services Industry for the end to end process.With over 20 years’ in the financial services industry I have gathered extensive experience in the Operations and Funds Administration space with roles covering funds management and custody both locally and in Europe. This experience has allowed me to develop an in depth understanding of the process flows and relationships between client, manager, fund administrator and custodian and be able to exploit that knowledge to deliver high quality and consistent results. I have a strategic focus but maintain a hands-on approach to ensure implementation of strategic goals are completed across the business units. I have a proven track record of understanding risk considerations, exposure management, counterparty risk, investment risk, trade, transactional and data management with the ability to successfully manage clearers, prime brokers and custodial relationships. Extensive experience in mitigating risk and ensuring effective governance, reducing costs and increasing efficiency whilst keeping ahead of industry standards and legislative changes. I am passionate that an effective Operations team should provide a value add service to the investment process rather than simply be a cost centre.
