I focus my practice primarily on complex patent litigation. My technical experience includes a strong background in electrical and computer engineering. I have represented clients in complex patent litigations involving a variety of technologies including touch screen heuristics, object-oriented programming, networking hardware and software, banking technologies, wireless protocols, and pharmaceuticals.I have been involved in various aspects and phases of patent litigation, including prefiling analyses, fact and expert discovery, Markman briefing, summary judgment briefing, trial preparation and post-trial proceedings before the Federal Circuit. As a member of the trial team in several significant multipatent litigation matters including an ANDA pharmaceutical action, my experience extends to all stages of litigation, from drafting a complaint to receiving a jury verdict to appellate work. In addition to experience in federal district court litigation, I have also participated in cases before the International Trade Commission. Additionally, I also have patent counseling experience, particularly concerning patent portfolio assessment.I am also active in pro bono matters including several juvenile immigration cases and representing a former prisoner detainee in a §1983 case for Constitutional Rights violations through trial.
