As a Payload Instrument Engineer and Technical Group Supervisor at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), I utilize my over 20 years of experience in leading and delivering complex and innovative space and aerospace projects. I am currently responsible for the REASON radar instrument on the Europa Clipper mission, which aims to explore the habitability of Jupiter's icy moon. I oversee the technical and schedule aspects of the instrument development, integration, and testing, as well as the coordination with other stakeholders and partners. I also have a strong background in project management and systems engineering, having served as the Instrument Operations System Lead and a Systems Engineer on the Mars Perseverance Rover, which successfully landed on the red planet in February 2021, and with drone aircraft payloads development and operations during my time in the U.S. Air Force where leadership of the team or group were a standard part of my role. Additionally, I have lived and worked in Asia and the Middle East, and I hold several certifications in the fields of information security, export compliance, and I am fluent in English, proficient in Mandarin Chinese, and am learning French. I am passionate about advancing the scientific and technological frontiers of space exploration.
