    As a Technical Support Engineer I was responsible for North America customer satisfaction of our Transport X portable dissolved gas analyzer. This included providing technical support for the product as well as managing the RMA repairs process from start to finish. I would provide phone technical support until it was determined a unit would need to be sent in for repair, track the RMA process, troubleshoot faulty units, provides quotes, execute the repairs and ship the repaired unit back to the customer. I was also responsible for performing any Oracle transactions to manage the inventory used and recognize any revenue from the repair. In addition to technical support for the Transport X I also managed our North America services stock for both in house repairs and field service repairs, including purchasing inventory and equipment, tracking stock maintained by field service engineers, transacting stock in oracle as it was used and explaining any stock discrepancy. Another task for this position was to coordinate shipments to customers, field service engineers and other international GE sites. Finally I assisted with our Chicago office environmental, health and safety policies, ensuring the Chicago office is in compliance with applicable regulations and encourage good employee safety practices through monthly audits.
