I specialise in helping agencies, creatives, brands, production teams, and businesses develop and implement authentic storytelling through image and film content.I love uncovering the most compelling way for brands to tell stories that matter to them. That’s what motivates me. Whether I'm producing or directing, my drive lies in discovering that unique hook, an authentic moment, which resonates deeply with an audience. That's where the magic happens.How did that happen? I remember reading Pole to Pole by Michael Palin at a fairly young age. In the first few lines, he painted such a vivid picture of him, his director, sound recordist and cameraman packed tightly into a small aeroplane on their way to the North Pole, being the only humans in 500 miles. It was so inspiring—a real-life adventure. From that moment, I knew that traveling to tell human stories was for me.Since then, I’ve had the privilege of directing, producing, and capturing commercials and documentaries across six continents. (Antarctica, the seventh, is still pending!)Nathan, my Heist co-founder, and I created a short documentary about a fine artist that was awarded the coveted Vimeo Staff Pick. It's a recognition we are still incredibly proud of. Building on that success, we founded Heist—a no-nonsense production studio.With experience across all areas of production and post-production, I provide inventive solutions to the creative challenges of creating human-made stories.
