I quit my job in February, 2019 to pursue two important goals, to travel the world and to move to a new city. Since that day, I have visited six new countries and moved to a brand new city, Portland. What I love most about both travel and living in a new place is that it can be such a humbling yet rewarding experience. I didn't have a plan for my travels, I didn't want one. I wanted to follow my gut and spend the time exploring the places I wanted to see, even if it meant being uncomfortable most of the time. I let my curiosity lead me and I trusted myself to solve any problem in my way. In the end, I did what I set out to do. I explored new countries and I experienced so much growth because I allowed myself to be uncomfortable.Now, I bring that desire for growth, passionate curiosity and adept problem solving to Portland. Curiosity opens the door for opportunity and that opportunity is a chance to grow.In my previous position, designing inflatables, I had the opportunity to work with hundreds of clients such as General Motors, Anheuser-Busch InBev, Macy's, Cartoon Network and the NBA. I collaborated with clients to bring their ideas to life in inflatable form. I applied my keen eye for detail, a knack for solving problems, and a desire to always improve upon a design (and the involved processes) in order to fulfill my clients vision. I also took the lead on designing crash cars, both inflatable and foam. While my usual work entailed unique one-off designs, the expansion into crash cars presented one in which multiple versions and series of products needed to be thoroughly researched, trialed and approved to meet certain set standards.
