I'm a partner at Dillon PLLC, where I focus on white-collar criminal defense and campus disciplinary/Title IX matters. My white-collar practice focuses mainly on defending people in cases involving fraud and other complex financial crimes. In my campus practice, I've represented students and professors at more than 100 schools nationwide and have been quoted or published about Title IX issues in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The Los Angeles Times, and many other publications. I have also been invited to speak about Title IX issues by organizations including the American Bar Association, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Virginia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and Harvard Law School.Before starting Dillon PLLC, I was a partner at KaiserDillon PLLC. Prior to that, I spent 5 1/2 years as an Assistant United States Attorney for the District of Columbia, where I tried more than 60 criminal cases, including more than 20 jury trials. I also authored more than a dozen appellate briefs, argued appeals in both the D.C. Court of Appeals and the D.C. Circuit, and directed more than 100 Grand Jury investigations. Before joining the U.S. Attorney's Office, I handled a diverse array of civil and criminal matters at Harris, Wiltshire & Grannis LLP, where I represented clients before tribunals ranging from state and federal courts to the NCAA. Earlier in my career, I served as an Honors Program Trial Attorney in the Civil Rights Division of the United States Department of Justice, where I focused on religious-freedom and housing-discrimination cases.
