During a semester-long project with engineers of the University of Florida's Industrial and Systems Engineering department, I:• Validated production flow times and capacity of the new E-2D Hawkeye facility using Arena simulation• Redesigned a new facility layout to maximize the efficiency of production flow and increase the facilities’ ROI

The University of Florida's Computing and Networking Services department provides network access to all students and faculty across the University. As an employee, I contributed to the team by:• Coordinated and organized networking equipment trade-ins through Cisco.• Managed campus equipment inventory of over 50,000 assets.• Located, scanned, reported and placed decals on state assets as a part of inventory tracking.• Spearheaded a preventative maintenance project for over 300 UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) systems across campus through battery replacement maintenance.• Updated campus building databases on wiki and network diagrams using Visio.

Eaton Corporation is a multinational power management company. As a Co-Op, Justin worked in one of Eaton's largest electrical manufacturing facilities. I contributed to the team by:• Led a lean project that will improve the plants' Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and transfer knowledge from the powder coat paint processes using standard work/visuals across the Load Center, Metering and ACD paint lines.•Updated statistical process control software from AppStats to Minitab.•Constructed control charts to monitor statistical process control on pretreat chemicals on the Load Center, Metering and ACD paint lines in order to drive cost out.•Assisted with a lean project for the plant's forklift services to a standardized mapping and distribution of activities amongst operators.

As an intern, I contributed to Eaton's Greenwood, SC medium voltage facility by:• Assembled an online ISO 9001/Eaton Quality System audit database using MQ1 Software• Instructed regular training for cross-functional team members within the Greenwood plant on MQ1 Software• Spearheaded the implementation of Test Data Management (TDM) to streamline work processes amongst Low Voltage Busway product line
