This work was centered on the decommisioned HPH (High Pressure Heater) system. - Inspecting plant differences to current plant documentation. - Completing Plant Modification Procedures - Updating the current state of the HPH plant on all company systems. Drawings, Permit Software (PAS), Instrumentation Software (PI View), Operating Manuals, Maintenance Manuals and Description Manuals• Investigating plant alarms through the PI Data, identifying possible causes and creating solutions• Organising quotes and purchase orders for plant items and services• Supervising on-site work by contractors• Completing and managing all Quality Assurance Documents related the Steam Feed Pump.• Writing the Outage Report for the Steam Feed Pump Overhaul.

This role was a short contract which ran for the duration of the Major Outage at Loy Yang Power Station. Large sections of refractory were replaced throughout the inside of the boiler. My role involved following daily progress on the refractory placement and completing the following tasks:• Recording all refractory installation• Preparation and testing of all samples to ensure all refractory meets quality acceptance criteria• Design & Generation of quality compliance reports.• Monitoring site installation to ensure compliance with quality procedures
