GLADE, Green Leadership Academy for Diverse Ecosystems, is the flagship program of GOAS, the Greater Ozarks Audubon Society since 2009. It is a grant funded, week long immersive summer program for high school students to be emersed in conservation careers and to awaken them to conservation issues and to help them develop skills to solve the real-world problems they face today. Through immersive leadership activities and experiential learning, GLADE strives to inspire and develop a future generations of community conservation leaders and to enhance the quality of life in the Ozarks through conservation action and environmental education.
