As an iOS Developer at Intrepid, I have designed and developed iOS applications in both Swift and Objective C. I collaborate with other mobile and backend engineers, product specialists, project managers and UX designers using an agile approach.I've worked on a wide range of applications and projects including an app that helps new mothers determine if they are at risk for postpartum depression and an IOT home automation platform integrating Bluetooth and WiFi connected devices.

During this 12-week training program, I worked alongside the iOS engineering team on existing client projects and also produced a capstone iOS project with my fellow apprentices that demonstrated the breadth of knowledge we learned over the course of the program.

Designed and implemented custom camera controls and utilized Google Drive API to allow users to simultaneously record, upload, and safeguard video remotely. BMLP Video Archiver is an iOS app that empowers individuals and communities in the event of police harassment and helps provide vital legal evidence for individuals that may be victims of or witnesses to civil rights violations.

Selected for Pursuit Core Fellowship, an intensive 10-month, Google-funded software engineering program with a 9% acceptance rate (out of 1500+ applicants). Fellows are prepared with in-demand technical and professional skills and have been hired as developers at leading companies such as Pinterest, JP Morgan, and Spotify. Gained hands-on experience with Swift, Git, Data Structures, Algorithms, APIs, and tech principles and culture via both team/individual projects, code reviews, and pair programming.

Designed and implemented data architecture using Core Data. Designed and implemented map grid and user location to grid tile assignment with Core Location. Led concept development, UI design and logo design using Sketch and Photoshop.SeekNYC is an exploration game built in iOS in which the user uncovers a map of New York City and can see what percentage of the 5 boroughs they’ve uncovered.Available for download in the iTunes app store. (See the link below!)The app tracks your movement as you trek through the city and reveals an underlying map. You can choose between 4 different colored skins for the map overlay and just shake your device to generate recommendations for exploring places off your beaten path.

Led concept development, implemented Parse integration and created custom UI elements with a team of four developers in a 48-hour Hackathon. Donate.IT helps underserved and underrepresented communities by providing a platform for donating tech equipment. Products were evaluated by an elite panel of judges including Benjamin Jackson, Director of Mobile at VICE Media, and Tony Barnes VP of Tech Innovation at Capital One.Donate.IT allows you to create a listing for any phone, laptop, or tablet you'd like to donate to someone in need. You can also make a request for an item listed for donation and the app will send an email to the donor with your contact email. The donor and the recipient coordinate the exchange and when both parties have marked the item as successfully donated/received the donor will receive a tax receipt via email.

Designed several CD cover, logo and t-shirt designs for a “transglobal soul”, world music band based in Brooklyn, NY.

Launched, promoted and completed a successful Kickstarter project raising over $5000 to create a series of photographic works in India and Nepal. Designed and published two different photo books from the work created. Exhibited prints from the project at Brooklyn Collective, an artists' co-op retail shop.

Assisted distinguished and prolific painter, Freddy Rodriguez, with studio organization and documentation of works. Compiled photographic and digital archives of over 3 decades of press and works into a new software program sponsored by the Joan Mitchell Foundation. Completed basic video documentary work.
