About Justine Mitchell

Combining my expertise as a Business Consultant and Lawyer, I specialise in fostering business growth, drawing from a rich background spanning the legal, property, football, and beauty industries. My current focus lies in advising multiple companies on strategic development, actively guiding them from conceptualisation to execution of innovative strategies and processes that yield substantial business expansion. These roles are hands-on, allowing me to deeply engage in every aspect of the growth journey. Before transitioning into consultancy, I founded the acclaimed luxury day spa, Chamomile Sanctuary, in 2010, successfully navigating its sale in April 2022. Renowned for its distinguished clientele and accolades such as the Best Beauty Salon and Best Pivot Product Award during the Covid era, the spa marked a significant pivot from my initial career as an employment lawyer, followed by a stint in property development. My journey led me into the realm of Scottish football, where I made history as the sole female Director at that time of a Scottish Premier Football Club, Dundee United. During my tenure, I served as a Trustee of the Club’s Community Trust, directed the Scottish Women’s Football Board, and established Dundee United Women’s Football Club. Additionally, I contributed to the Scottish FA Congress and served on the Scottish FA Judicial Panel. My contributions extend beyond the field, as I’ve served as a judge for esteemed accolades such as the UK Professional Beauty Awards and the Business Women Scotland Awards. In 2016, I was honored with the Inspirational Woman of the Year Award from Business Women Scotland. I’m also a sought-after speaker at business and women’s events, and proudly serve as an Ambassador for Women’s Enterprise Scotland.
