Brand strategy development and management for one of the UK's largest and newest charities, including developing a new market positioning, brand building internally and externally through refocused communications and messaging, increasing brand awareness and leading marketing, communications and fundraising teams to increase supporter and visitor numbers.

Management of all corporate communications material and events including annual report & accounts, impact report, receptions at the House of Lords, annual public meeting and high profile annual awards dinner. Established the Trust’s first major donor programme which involved prospect identification and research, creation of propositions, pitching and on-going relationship management. £1.5m secured in first two years.

Responsible for the full communications operation at this mid-sized national charity including strategy development, brand positioning, donor communications, and event management.

Creation of an internal communications strategy and overseeing implementation to support the introduction of a new multi-million pound council-wide customer service programme.

Established the communications function for the seasonal personnel recruitment operation including creating a new brand, positioning, tone of voice and focused communications strategy leading to increased enquiries, applications and year on year retention; and launching an international recruitment programme.
