• Served as the lead modeler and managed an engagement team to assist financial institutions in the analysis and execution of auto and student loan Asset-Backed Securities (ABS) issuances, including communication and coordination with client, underwriter, and legal counsel working group members, review of the due diligence procedure results, cash flow modeling including risk retention calculations, review of the related offering documents, and issuance of the Offering Documents AUP reports;• Leveraged technical skills in Excel and VBA script to create collateral and bond cash flows for ABS offering, including student loan, auto loan/lease, aircraft, and oil and gas;• Performed fair value analyses of various types of fixed income securities, including ABS, Collateralized Mortgage, Debt, and Loan Obligations (CMO, CDO, and CLO), Commercial and Residential Mortgage-Backed Securities (CMBS and RMBS), corporate bonds, municipal bonds, and private placement debts;• Performed valuations of credit deteriorated whole loans acquired by banks under ASC 310-30 (SOP 03-3). Reviewed methodologies used to generate valuation assumptions incorporating allowance for loan and lease losses (ALLL) adjustments, internal credit rating based forecast, roll-rate analysis, probability of default (PD)/loss given default (LGD) benchmark, and back-testing analysis.
