•Manages tradeshows, executive leadership meetings, internal sales conferences, customer user forums, partner conferences, sales incentive trip and employee appreciation events, totaling approximately 40 events per year, both internationally and domestically •Coordinates with senior management and sales team to develop specific event goals, objectives and strategy for event execution •Presents destination ideas, recommends creative program options and solutions •Executes site inspections and selects venues for various conferences and sales incentive trip•Develops and adheres to strict budget guidelines by negotiating with vendors throughout the planning process•Works directly with, and achieves buy-in from the Leadership Team with regards to venue selection, contract negotiation and budget management •Works closely with hotels, DMCs, transportation companies, special event venues and entertainment providers•Manages room blocks, registration, on-site staffing, F&B, A/V, transportation, entertainment, marketing materials, event logistics and billing •Oversees event execution onsite by managing the run of show, directing and delegating tasks to event staff, managing third-party vendors and evaluating their performance•Communicates all event details to appropriate parties, including internal colleagues, event attendees/registrants, senior management, Entrust Datacard customers and partners throughout the lifecycle of the event•Tracks key metrics associated with all events through the sales process (inquiries, leads, opportunities, closed deals, ROI)•Collaborates with designers, web developers and print providers to create event communication pieces, registration sites, promotional items and collateral •Ensures events are promoted on Entrust Datacard website and social media sites to obtain further marketing outreach •Manages strategic design, development and show execution plans for two of the company’s largest global tradeshows
