Cleaning and repairing ships equipment such as lube oil systems, condensers. In which most case was re-tubing then testing equipment for leaks and holds proper pressure as if it were in normal operation. Then AC&R units throughout the ship which was testing, repair vacuuming and recharging units with proper procedure and guidelines.

First two years I was temporarily assigned to ships Master At Arms where we were in charge of ship security. During that time I accomplished many gun qualifications, lead exercises and drills. Worked my way up the ladder from patrolman to ships armory. I was in charge of cleaning and distributing weapons and ammunition during two tours OIF and OEF. Final two years I was back in my division working in number 1 main machinery room standing normal watch rotation. In charge of the preservation and maintenance of both distilling units. Providing potable water to the ship for daily consumption such as drinking, cooking, and shower water.
