I created and managed social media programs at Ariba, from strategy and employee policies to content creation and video production. I represented the company and our social media efforts with analysts, journalists, bylines and speaking engagements.Our programs include:Salesforce Chatter- I played a major role in selecting Chatter as our internal collaboration/social tool and have driven training and adoption programs.Customer Community http://exchange.ariba.com- Ariba Exchange is our customer community, where they engage with one another and Ariba's subject matter experts. Ariba Exchange also serves as a publishing platform for our SME's, syndicating content to a variety of platforms, including the Ariba.com homepage, on-demand solution login pages, Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook.YouTube http://www.youtube.com/user/AribaSpendManager- I launched our YouTube channel in 2008 primarily to post candid, conversational interviews with customers and analysts that we shoot, post and edit from live events. Since then we have posted over 100 videos, increased our SEO, provided valuable content and received over 40,000 views.Events- Transformed Ariba LIVE, our annual customer conference, into a more social event. I implemented live streaming keynotes, video interviews with breakout speakers, SlideShare to house all presentations in a mobile-friendly platform, QR Codes to a access presentations, and blogs to share content and insights with attendees - physical and online.LinkedIn Groups - 5 groups total, the largest being Strategic Sourcing & Procurement (http://www.linkedin.com/groups/Strategic-Sourcing-Procurement-139021) with over 40,000 members globally and online/offline programs including a monthly member conference call that I moderate.Twitter- @AribaExchangeFacebook - http://www.facebook.com/AribaInc
