Current• Provide oversight and strategic direction of the Office of Service-Learning & Civic Engagement, including a team of three professional staff members and a team of 10-12 student staff • Collect, track, and assess data to ensure the service-learning graduation requirement only enhances the university’s efforts toward all relevant performance-based funding state metrics, including graduation rates, starting salaries for recent graduates, and retention of first-year to second-year students• Serve as part of the campus wide team that developed and is now implementing a transferable skills digital badge program for all students to enhance student career readiness• Track and assess successful progress toward unit, division, and university goals using campus-wide platforms such as Tableau, Simplicity, Campus Labs/Anthology, Degree Works, and Workday • Increased the number of classes integrating service-learning across campus by 20% in two years• Consult with faculty to review their courses and advise on the best methods to integrate service-learning and associated frameworks into the course content and objectives• Train and provide resources to faculty teaching over 270 classes each year• Introduced and fully integrated the following frameworks into the campus wide service-learning graduation requirement curriculum: Active Citizen Continuum, NACE Career Readiness Competencies, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals• Recruit, train, and manage relationships with over 350 nonprofit and government agencies to be effective and collaborative co-educators alongside faculty and staff. • Collaborate closely with the Office of Internships and Career Development Services to ensure career readiness is fully integrated into the service-learning curriculum • Increased the percentage of students meeting their service-learning hours graduation requirement prior to the stated deadline by nearly 100%
