Over the last 2 years Justin Funke has led the ICT design and architecture for capital projects in excess of 2 billion dollars including museums, professional sports stadiums and convention centers.In 2009 Daemon Defense launched its content delivery network. It is one of the first CDN's in the world that dynamically streams video over either the Internet or the International R&E network. Justin has led a research & development initiative on the Canarie platform – including Kaltura Micro Video, Content Delivery, and Cloud PAAS systems – and he is currently working with a number of universities integrating learning management systems and leveraging the advantages of this infrastructure.With Daemon Defense’s offices located at the University of Manitoba SMARTPARK, Justin is able to work closely with some of the province’s most innovative technology research firms. For the last ten years Justin has worked on a federal task force for the Minister of Industry Canada and currently sits on the Advisory Board to the Management Information Systems program at the University of Manitoba Asper School of Business. He is still very active with the ICT Standards Advisory of Canada.
