I manage 5 other computer technicians who manage 2000+ computers over 9 campuses.

Manage all computers for faculty, staff, classrooms, and special events. Keep inventory, diagnose software and hardware problems, and deploy new and useful tools for the university.

Managed Cell phone billing, repairs, orders and questions. Also managed requests for satellite phones, pagers, international phones, and special events. Was in charge of testing/deploying PDA phones. Constantly looked for new ways to save the university money and determine which wireless carrier was a good fit for the university.

I was the Personnel manager in charge of hiring and scheduling student workers. There were approximately 50 student workers when I was the manager and I would schedule times according to each persons class schedule and personal preference. There were 5-7 positions on duty at any given time and I had to make sure all spots were filled. I was also in charge of sending out news regarding the department and scheduling vacation and sick time.

I was hired as a contract writer for www.howtogeek.com. I write various IT related how-to articles.

Created my company to give drivers immediate summer refreshments. In charge of inventory, pricing, and all employees.
