I am a scientist working on assisting those in the food supply chain to monitor and understand deforestation in their supply chains. I have extensive statistical and research training, an understanding of forest and human-impacted ecosystems, and technical skills for analysing geographical, biological, and molecular data. I have led molecular biology work during my PhD and in the NHS as part of the COVID-19 pandemic response. I have collaborated with researchers from a range of organisations including The Woodland Trust, Forest Research, The Wildlife Conservation Society and beyond. I am also interested in how we can best communicate science and the risk of anthropogenic climate change.
