I am an advanced practice nurse and health policy advocate. As a clinician I see the direct impacts that government policy plays on on my clinical practice. I currently serve as President of the Washington State Nurses Association Board of Directors It is my belief that all healthcare providers must be at the table in policy discussions. We are present at the time of care, and all of our issues transcend politics and partisanship. In addition to practicing clinically, I hope to lead advocacy efforts that effect positive change for patients and communities.
