I graduated in 2005 with a degree in marketing but got sold on a dream in healthcare staffing. After four years I decided it wasn’t for me (although that career did bring me to California where I met my wife so it worked out in the end) and I threw in the towel and made the decision to switch careers – eventually landing in PR.After nearly 15 years not a day goes by that I’m not thankful for having the courage to make that decision. I now make my living digging to uncover nuggets of storytelling gold and weaving them into the threads of an interesting story. One of the biggest things I try to impart on my clients is that the business press story is seldom what you make, rather it’s what you make possible.
