Develop and implement program quality plans, programs, and procedures using statistical quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses.• Performs data mining and analysis to characterize department quality performance, risk to the project, and to understand cause- effect relationships.• Summarizes and reports findings from studies/analyses completed; extracts critical data, summarized and interprets such data for the Program Managers, Trades Directors, and senior level decision-makers. Reporting on weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.• Coordinates data/information with customers throughout entire organization (across multiple departments and programs).• Ensured that materials/processes/programs/workmanship employed during shipbuilding, repair, overhaul and refueling operations comply with customer and Company quality requirements• Investigates problems and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies.• Interfaces with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor representatives to ensure requirements are met.• Work closely with senior management to recommend corrective action where necessary and develops plant quality control manuals.• Performed a variety of difficult investigative, technical and administrative tasks.• Develops and implements testing and inspection procedures.• Conducted audits to monitor, evaluate and report on Company and/or vendor compliance with established quality requirements.• In-depth software and hardware audits conducted; discrepancies documented and detailed audit reports prepared.*Current Webmaster for department website April 2011-present *
